My name is Erin Mhairi Capener
I grew up in Bristol surrounded by a family of creatives. From a very young age my dad would take me and my eldest sister on shoots. I remember vividly, the moment I watched the documentary and realised they had made it rain in the shot when 4 year-old-me knew that day had been sunny! I was captivated by the idea of video production.
After completing a Level 3 Diploma at Bath College for Creative Media Production, I began working for a start-up company, Under The Wing Productions. As their first official employee, I have helped UTW build their brand image, grow their client base, and become who we are today. From finances, edits, producing, spreadsheets, shoot schedules, RAMS, website optimisation, SEO, coding, creating our business cards, t-shirt designing, running social media, designing wedding invitations, writing pitches, to emailing clients; there is nothing I haven't tried. This includes receiving an SCQF Level 8 qualification in Digital Marketing.
The goal now is to explore the world of freelance editing, branch out, travel to London, and work with a new client base; all whilst doing my bit for Under The Wing.
