In 2019 I wrote, directed, and edited a short film about the importance of young women sticking together throughout a time in which they are pitted against one another the most: school.
This project is still very important to me as I hope it creates hope and unity in a community I care about. Young women are taught that everyone around them is competition when really we are all too busy with our own issues to worry about the appearance and actions of others.
At the end of our second year at college we had to focus on creating one Final Major Project; this was mine. I created storyboards, sets and conducted plentiful research in order to create it and received a distinction as my overall grade because of it.

I hid a lot of imagery within this film, mainly focusing on colour theory to tell a story within the story.
One of the important aspects of the grading in this project was the 'vlogs' we created, my video essay on the final product explains in detail, shot for shot, the creative process behind it.
